Starting from the simplest circuit models, we will move onto the more complex ones eventually exploring their properties and using them in real applications. This initial post focuses on building circuits using Ohm’s Law . You would be able to build many more circuits by expanding on this topic. This blog will provide you with sufficient knowledge to build your own circuits. Circuittheory has made free online videos about electronics since 2013. Topics covered in these include passive circuits, power electronics, digital electronics, semiconductor devices and data acquisition among others. The channel is a part of a larger initiative called “Electronics for You” aiming to spread awareness about electronics through publicly available content at no cost. The channel is managed by volunteers from India and their sole aim is to provide education to everyone interested in this field. YouTube is the key medium for the channel’s expansion owing its easy accessibility and user-friendly interface. Circuittheory has many resources including books, printable posters and documentations. All these resources are available for free. This page will be updated with more resources of this kind in the future, so stay tuned! Circuittheory began in 2013 with an aim to spread knowledge on electronics among students in India. With time, it managed to grow into a major platform for electronics education. Circuittheory has gotten popular on social media sites like Facebook ,Twitter etc. Recently circuittheory was awarded the “Best Electronics Channel”on YouTube in the International Science & Engineering Film Festival held at Los Angeles, California in August 2016 . As winners, we also received a cash prize of $1000. This wonderful win came at a time when circuittheory was facing many difficulties in getting the needed equipment and resources. Circuittheory has been involved in all efforts to fulfil the requirements of the film festival and this has made us realise how important it is to keep working hard so that we can keep receiving awards too!
